Body Electric/Taoist Massage Session

Important Note: This session is designed exclusively for graduates of the Body Electric CBE Workshop [no exceptions]. If you have not taken a Body Electric class and are interested in additional information about workshops in Texas, please see the Body Electric website. This session is for gay, bisexual, and straight men who are graduates of the Body Electric CBE workshop, continue your rebirthing journey with a brother who is the coordinator of Body Electric workshops in Texas and a participant of Wildwood retreats in the Russian River Valley and Easton Mountain in the Hudson Valley of New York. Through conscious breath, and honoring the wisdom of the body, we recognize the holistic connections between mind, body, and spirit. This session offers continued opportunities to explore those connections in safe and supportive environment. Feel comfortable in your body and recognize the body's wisdom as ancient, sacred, playful and profound. The session begins with an undressing ritual and proceeds to a light massage with powder to raise the senses of your body. After your brief powder massage, warm cream is applied to the entire body. Energy is elevated during moving music styles which slowly builds in rhythm and intensity. Throughout the session, we continue your journey through the breathing exercises that you learned in your CBE workshop. The session culminates in the opportunity for you to experience a 'Big Draw' and be wrapped in a cocoon as you experience your sacred journey. Please note that at least 24 hours notice is required so that your CBE participation and completion can be verified with Body Electric. |
